dc.description.abstract-45- Ö Z E T Orta Karadeniz Bölgesinde atık yapan koyunlarda Campylobacter türlerinin izolasyonu ve identifikasyonu ile bazı antibiyotiklere duyarlılıkları üzerinde çalışmalar Bu çalışmada 1991 -1992 yılı kuzulama döneminde Sam sun ve civar illeri koyunlarında, selektif izolasyon yöntemleri kullanılarak Campylobacter türleri araştırıldı. İncele nen 35 koyun atık fetusundan 8 (% 22.9), 20 vaginal sıvaptan 18 ( %90 ) Campylobacter spp. izole edildi. İzole edilen 26 Campylobacter susu oksidaz, katalaz, %3.5 NaCl, TTC (400 mcg/ml ), H^S (kağıt şerit), sodyum hippurat, aerobik üreme, 25°C, 30.5°C ve 42°C de üreme, nali- diksik asit (30 rncg/disk), cephalotin (30 rncg/disk) testleri ne tabi tutularak identifiye edildi. Atık fetuslardan izole edilen 8 sustan 5* i (%62.5) C. fetus subsp. fetus, 2'si ( %25 ) C. jejuni ve lei (%12.5) aerotolerant Campylobacter olarak identifiye edilirken, vaginal sıvaplardan izole edilen 18 Campylobacter spp.'nin; 12lsi (%66.7) C. fetus subsp. fetus ve 65sı (%33.3) C. jejuni olarak identifiye edilmiştir. 10 sürüden 6'smda ( %60 ) C. fetus subsp. fetus, 3'ünde ( %30 ) C. jejuni ve 1(%10) sürüde aerotolerant Campylobacter atık etkeni olarak tespit edilmiştir. Antibiyogram testinde tüm suşlar penisiline dirençli; gentamisin, eritromisin, kloramfenikol ve sulfarnethoxazole-trimethoprime %90, streptomi sin, tetrasiklin ve neomisine %70 oranında duyarlı bulunmuştur.
dc.description.abstract-46- SUMMARY `Studies on isolation, identification and antibiotic suscep tibilities of the Campylobacter strains isolated from abor ted sheep in Middle Black Sea Region.` In this study, Campylobacter spp. were investigated using selective media in aborted sheep in Middle Black Sea region, during 1991-1992 lambing season. A total of 26 Cam pylobacter spp. was isolated (8 strain from 35 aborted ovine fetuses, 18 strain from 20 vaginal swaps) All Campylobacter isolation were subjected to vari ous test such as oxidase, catalase, % 3.5 NaCl, TTC (400 mcg/ml ) H^S (asetat paper), sodium hippurat, aerobik growth and to growth in different temparatures (25°C, 30.5°C and 42°C), nalidixic acid (30 meg/disc), cephalotin ( 30mcg/disc ). Of the 8 isolates from aborted fetus, 5 (62.5%) were C. fetus subsp. fetus; 2 (25%) were C. jejuni and 1 (12.5%) was aerotolerant Campylobacter. Of the 18 isolates from vaginal swap samples, 12 (66.7%) were C. fetus subsp. fetus and 6 (%33.3)were C. jejuni. In addition, as for the distribution of Campylobac ter strains to flocks, it was detected that in 6(%60) flocks out of C. fetus subsp fetus, in 3(%30) flocks C. jejuni and in 1 flock aerotolerant Campylobacter were the reason for abortion It was found that isolates were sensitive, to genta- micin, erytromisin, chloramphenicol, trimethoprim+sulfamet- hoxazole at the rate of 90 per cent, to streptomycin, tetra- cyclin and neomisin at the %70 per cent, and resistant to penicilline at the 100 per cent.en_US
