Y Nowadays it is understood that. errors of the students are significant, because they tell us how effective we taught, and what our students learned. We must give the answer to the question ' Why do our students make errors ?' When we give the answer we will be more successful in language teaching. The cause of making an error can be in t eri ingual, i. e. carrying inappropriate elements from mother tongue to the target language, in t rai ingual, i. e. the difficulties that occur in the target language itself. When an error is made it. must.not be ignored, because i t will tell us.to which way we have to direct teaching. After classifiying errors and pointing out the cause, we must think about how to remedy them. Choosing the best types of exercises we can remove the expected errors. While teaching if a teacher knows the problem areas, he will direct his methods according to them and be successful in teaching di f f i cul t part s of the target, language.en_US
