Günümüz lise tarih ders kitaplarının müfredat, içerik ve şekil yönünden incelenmesi

Abstract

Tarih eğitiminin bir parçası olan ders kitaplarının yeterli olup olmadığı her zaman tartışılan bir konu olmuştur. Bu çalışmada bazı örnek ders kitapları incelenerek çeşitli sonuçlara ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. İlk bölümde Türk Tarih Tezi merkeze alınarak cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarında ders kitaplarına etkileri ele alındı. İkinci bölümde genel olarak ders kitaplarında bulunması gereken özellikler üzerinde duruldu. Üçüncü bölümde tarih dersi müfredatı temel alınarak ders kitaplarının konuları yeterli oranda ele alıp almadığı incelendi. Dördüncü bölümde kitapların dersin amaçlarına uygunluğu konusu üzerinde duruldu. Ders kitapları arasında karşılaştırmalar yapıldı. Beşinci bölüm dil ve anlatım açısından incelemeye ayrılırken altıncı bölümde tarih terminolojisi ele alındı. 2003-2004 öğretim yılında kullanılan kitaplara öncelik verilirken diğer bazı örnek ders kitapları da değerlendirildi.

Whether or not textbooks are part of history education has always been a matter of debate. In this study, some sample textbooks were examined and various results were tried to be reached. In the first part, the Turkish History Thesis was taken to the center and the effects of textbooks on the first years of the republic were discussed. The second chapter focused on the features that should be found in textbooks in general. In the third chapter, based on the history lesson curriculum, it is examined whether the textbooks deal with the subjects adequately. In the fourth chapter, we focused on the suitability of the books for the purposes of the course. Comparisons were made between textbooks. The fifth section is divided into language and narrative, while the sixth section deals with the terminology of history. While the books used in the 2003-2004 school year were given priority, some other sample textbooks were also evaluated.
