Bursa Eynebey Kütüphanesi`ndeki XVI. yüzyıl ve sonrası Türk cildleri

Abstract

ÖZET El yazması kitaplar, tarih boyunca ilme ve san' ata büyük önem veren Türk milletinin kültür mirasında, önemli bir yer tutarlar. Türk cild sarı' atının Uygur Türklerine dayanan köklü bir geçmişi vardır. Türkler'in Anadolu'ya yerleşmelerinden sonra, her san'at alanında olduğu gibi cild san'atmda da büyük gelişmeler olmuş, yeni üslûplar ortaya çıkmıştır. Osmanlı imparatorluğu Dönemi'nde XVI. yüzyıl ve sonrasında, cild san'atı klasik üslûba ulaşmıştır. Çalışmada Bursa Eynebey (YEBEK) Kütüphanesi'nde bulunan XVI. yüzyıl ve sonrasına ait bir grup cild ele alındı. Araştırmada, cild hakkında genel bilgiler verildikten sonra, üzerinde çalışılan kitapların cild ve tezhiblerinin özellikleri, dönemleri ve uygulanışlarını resim ve orijinal çizimlerle destekleyerek tanıtıldı. Birinci bölümde cildin tarifi, tarihçesi, bölümleri, malzeme ve âletleri, tezyinatı ve cild üslûbları tanıtılmaya çalışıldı. Katalog bölümünde eserin ismi, dili ve konusu, ölçüleri, sayfa sayısı, ketebesi, müellifi, mücellidi, hattatı ve müzehhibi belirtilerek eserin künyesi verildi. Eserin yapım teknikleri, süsleme unsurları ve ketebesine dayanılarak cildin değerlendirilmesi yapıldı. VII

ABSTRACT Books in manuscript written by hand play a very important part in the cultural heritage of the Turkish nation that has ever attached great importance to science and art for a long time through the history. The Turkish art of bookbinding has a distant past and has its roots at the Turkish people of Uighur. After the Turkish people settled in Anatolia, there have been significant developments in the art of bookbinding, as it was in every branch of art, new styles had been brought out. During the reign of the Ottoman Empire, in the XVI th century and after that, the art of bookbinding had gained its classical style. In this study, a great number of covers of books were taken up and examined, which have been in the Bursa Eynebey Library of Manuscripts and Printed Books, and which are dating from the XVI th century and from the post- period. After that a general information had been given about the cover of the book, properties of the cover, its gilding, its period, and its application were described and that was supported by pictures and drawing. In the first chapter, a description of the cover, its short history, its parts, materials and tools, its adornment and styles of bookbinding were introduced. In the other chapter, the title of the book, its language and theme, its size, its pages, its transcribers and its writer, its bookbinder, its calligrapher, its gilder and gold-embroider had been systematically catalogued; therefore, the title and all the other properties of the book had been clearly indicated. A critical analysis of the cover was made, based on the technical knowledge and elements of adornment and its transcribers. VIII
