Muaz bin Cebel hayatı ve şahsiyeti

Abstract

Müslümanlar için sahâbûler, fevkelâde bir önem arzetmektedirler. Çünkü onlarKur'ân'ın indirilişine şahid olmuşlar ve Hz. Peygamber'in uygulamalarını yakinengörmüşlerdir. Bu dinin bize ulaşmasında birinci derecede bir köprü vazifesini icraetmişlerdir. Sahâbûlerin Kur'ân'dan istinbatları ve kaşılaşılan problemlerle ilgiliictihadları bizler için bu dinin doğru anlaşılmasında önemli bir referanstır. Bu yüzdensahâbûlerin hayat hikayelerinin bilinmesi büyük bir önem arzetmektedir.Muâz b. Cebel Ensar'ın ileri gelenlerinden bir sahâbûdir. On sekiz yaşındamüslüman olmuştur. Muâz'ın Yemen valiliği, kadılığı, zekât memurluğu, vahiykâtipliği, Kur'ân muallimliği, fakihliği, mürşidliği ve din muallimliği gibi vazifeleribaşarıyla icra etmiştir. Muâz'ın hayatı boyunca önemli vazifeleri yerine getirip İslamdinine olan hizmetlerinden dolayı hayat hikayesinin bilinmesi bize model olmasıaçısından büyük bir önem arzetmektedir.Çalışmamız giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde Muâz'ınmüslüman olmadan önceki hayatını ele aldık. Birinci bölümde Hz. Peygamberdönemindeki hayatını, ikinci bölümde Hz. Ebûbekir ve Hz. Ömer döneminde yaptığıgörevleri, üçüncü bölümde de vefatı ve şahsiyetini ele aldık.

The Companions of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) are very important forMuslims because they witnessed the revelation of the Quran and had the chance toobserve the life of the Prophet (pbuh). They served as a bridge to convey Islam to us.Their understanding of the Quran and their comments on the problems have beenimportant reference for us to understand Islam properly. That?s why learning theirlives is very important.Muâz b. Cebel is one of the most important of the Ansar ( Companions fromMadina). He embraced Islam when he was 18 years old. Muâz had a successful careeras the governor and judge of Yemen, officer of taxation (zakat), writer of therevalation, teacher and commentator of the Quran and teacher and preacher.Throughout his life, Muâz served in important positions and served successfully whichmakes his life an essential example to be leraned and analysed.This study consists of an introduction and three chapters. In introduction, wewill try to study Muaz?s life before Islam. His years in which the Prophet (pbuh) wasalive is studied in the first chapter; in second chapter the positions and services heachieved during Abubekir?s and Omar?s caliphacy are analysed. Finally, his death andpersonality is studied in third chapter.
