Abstract

TEZ N ADI: Ca'fer b. Ebû Tâlib Hayatı ve ŞahsiyetiHAZIRLAYAN: Arif OKUMUŞ?Ca'fer b. Ebû Tâlib Hayatı ve Şahsiyeti? başlığı altında, Hz. Muhammeddöneminde yaşamış ve slâm tarihinde önemli bir yeri olan Ca'fer b. Ebû Tâlib'in hayatı veşahsiyeti incelenmiştir. Araştırma çerçevesinde Hz. Ca'fer'in askerû, idarû, ilmû, ahlâkûyönleri ayrı ayrı ele alınmıştır.Bu araştırma giriş ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde; araştırmanınkaynaklarıyla birlikte Ca'fer b. Ebû Tâlib'in Müslüman olmadan önceki hayatı, birincibölümde Hz. Muhammed dönemindeki hayatı incelenmiştir. kinci bölümde ise Ca'fer b.Ebû Tâlib'in şahsiyeti ve vefatı ele alınmıştır.Hz. Ca'fer'in müslüman olmadan önceki hayatı incelenirken, amcası Abbas'ınhimayesine girişi ve ailesi üzerinde durulmuş, anne babası, kardeşleri, eşi ve çocuklarıhakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Hz. Muhammed'in görevlendirmesiyle çeşitli hizmetlerdebulunan Ca'fer b. Ebû Tâlib'in yapmış olduğu bu görevler tez içinde ayrı ayrı ele alınmıştır.Hicretin altıncı yılında Habeşistan'a giden ikinci muhâcir kafilesine yapmış olduğubaşkanlık, Necâşi'nin huzurunda Müslümanları savunması, hicretin sekizinci yılındayapılan Mu'te savaşına ikinci komutan olarak katılması ve çetin geçen savaşın sonundaşehit edilmesi üzerinde durulmuştur. Hz. Ca'fer'in idarû ve askerû yönü, ahlakû özellikleri,ilmû kişiliği ve vefatı konuları da ayrı başlıklar halinde ele alınmıştır. Araştırma sonundavarılan kanaatler ise sonuç bölümünde belirtilerek tez tamamlanmıştır.

Thesis Title: Ca?fer b. Ebû Tâlib?s Life and PersonalityPrepared by: Arif OKUMUŞUnder the title of Ca?fer b. Ebû Tâlib?s Life and Personality, the life style andpersonality of Ca?fer b. Ebû Tâlib living during the Muhammad period and taking part veryimportant role in Islamic history, was investigated.This study involved introduction and two separate sections. In the introductionchapter, the sources of study and Ca?fer b. Ebû Tâlib?s life before became Muslim wassearched. Then, his life during the period of Muhammad was investigated in the first section.Finally, in the second chapter, Ca?fer b. Ebû Tâlib?s personality and death was studied. Duringthe investigation of Ca?fer?s life before becoming Muslim, his entrance to protection of hisuncle, and his family was examined, further, some information about his mother, father,brothers, wife, and kids were given. Missions of Ca?fer b Ebû Tâlib, who was charged formany duties by Muhammad, were studied separately in the thesis. Moreover, his leadershipfor second emigrant convoy going to Abyssinia on the sixth years of the Hegira, his defenseof Muslims on the presence of Necaşi, his attendance of Mu?ta War as a second commanderon the eighth years of the Hegira, and his martyr at the end of the war were investigated indetail. Ca?fer?s administrative and military aspects, moral characteristics, scientificpersonality, and death issues were searched. The opinions obtained at the end of this studywere stated at conclusion chapter, and finally the thesis was completed.
