İlköğreitmde görev yapan öğretmenlerin eğitim algılarının bazı değişkenler açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı Konya ili merkezindeki ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin eğitim algılarının felsefi veya ideolojik temellerinin değişkenlere bağlı olarak incelenmesidir.Araştırma evrenini Konya İli'nde bulunan Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan sınıf öğretmenleri; örneklemini ise Konya İli Karatay, Meram ve Selçuklu ilçelerine bağlı 24 ilköğretim okulu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nicel ve nitel yöntem bir arada kullanılmıştır. İlk aşamada 221 sınıf öğretmenine tutum ölçeği uygulanmış; ikinci aşamada 221 kişi içinden rastlantısal olarak belirlenen 12 kişiyle görüşmeler yapılmıştır.Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlar;1.Öğretmenlerimizin eğitim algılarında pragmatizm felsefesi hakimdir. Ancak diğer felsefe ve ideolojilerin de işaretlenme yüzdeleri birbirine yakın olması sebebiyle eğitim algılarının eklektik olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.2.Cinsiyet ve yaş değişkenine bağlı olarak öğretmenlerimizin eğitim algılarında anlamlı farklılaşmalar ortaya çıkmıştır. Öğrenim durumu (en son alınan diploma) değişkenine göre ise katılımcılar arasındaki farklılaşma anlamlı değildir.3.Felsefi ve ideolojik ifadeler kıyaslandığında felsefi ifadelerin daha fazla işaretlendiği ortaya çıkmıştır.4.Görüşmeler sonucunda öğretmenlerimizin temel düşünce sistemleri hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadıkları tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca öğretmenlerimiz felsefi algılarını eğitim sürecine yansıtma konusunda farklı sebeplerle de olsa olumsuz bir tutum sergilemişlerdir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Eğitim algısı, Felsefe, İdeoloji.

Purpose of this study is to examine philosophical or ideological basis of education perceptions of classroom teachers working in primary schools in Konya city center depending on variables.Population of study consists of classroom teachers who work in primary schools of the Ministry of National Education in Konya city center; and its sample consists of 24 primary schools of Karatay, Meram and Selçuklu counties in Konya city. In research, quantitative and qualitative methods are used together. In the first step, attitude scale was applied to 221 classroom teachers; in the second step, 12 persons who were randomly determined among 221 people were interviewed.Results obtained from research5.Pragmatism is predominant is education perceptions of our teachers. But it?s concluded that their education perceptions are eclectic, because marking percentages in other philosophy and ideologies are close to each other.6.Depending on gender and age variables, a significant differentiation emerged in education perceptions of our teachers. And differentiation among participants is not significant according to the educational background (final diploma).7.When compared to philosophical and ideological expressions, it?s revealed that philosophical expressions were marked much more.8.As a result of interviews, it?s determined that teachers do not have sufficient knowledge about elementary idea systems, but despite due to different reasons, our teachers exhibited a negative attitude about reflecting their personal philosophical perceptions on education process.Key Words: Education Perception, Philosophy, Ideology
