28 Şubat sürecinde yazılı basın ve din: Hürriyet ve Yeni Şafak gazetesi örneği

Abstract

Çalışmamız, Türkiye'nin yakın tarihine damga vurmuş olan, 28 Şubat süreci olarak adlandırılan dönemde yazılı basın ve din konusunu ele almaktadır. Türkiye'de siyaset, özellikle 28 Şubat sürecinde olmak üzere din ekseninde yer almıştır. Din ekseni etrafında teşekkül eden tartışmalar, siyasete yön vermiş, gündemi belirlemiştir. Türkiye'de de farklı kesimler, din konusunda, din algısında, toplumsal ve bireysel yaşamda dinin rolü konusunda farklı tutumlar sergilemişlerdir. Bu bakımdan çalışmamızda hem din konusunda var olan farklı algılamalar tespit edilmeye çalışılmış hem de 28 Şubat süreci içerisinde dönemsel olarak din konusunun hangi oranda dile getirildiği ve hangi kesim tarafından hangi konuların ön plana çıkarıldığı ölçülmeye gayret edilmiştir. Bunların tespitinde de yazılı basın için örneklem olarak, o dönemin kutuplaşmış Türkiye'sinin iki kanadını temsil edebileceğini düşündüğümüz Hürriyet ve Yeni Şafak gazeteleri seçilmiştir. Sonuç olarak da din konusu üzerinde var olan yaklaşım farklılıklarını tespit edebilme imkanı yakalayabildiğimiz gibi 28 Şubat süreci içerisinde konunun hangi yoğunluk içerisinde ele alındığını, hangi konuların ön plana çıkarıldığını görme şansı da elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca çalışma, gazete fotoğrafları ve grafiklerle de zenginleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular çalışma içinde belirtilmiştir.
