Y THE NOWSTRESS TEST IE HIGH-RISK PREGIAICY Total eighty six pregnancies, who were sixteen normals and- seventy high-risk pregnancies admitted to the Department -of Obstet rics and Gynecology of Atatürk University Medical :Paculty, were studied during the period of August 1983 - April 1986» Total one hundred and twenty I.S.T. traces were recorded for all of these pregnaneies. After the fetuses we»e defined as reac<* tive or nonreactive, they were compared to each other with respect to fetal distress in labor, the type of delivery, APGAR score at. fifth minutes, and neonatal morbidity at first week after delivery. Petal distress and poor APGAR scores were determined as 50 % and neonatal morbidity as 60 % at nonreaetive fetusas, while fetal distress ratio was 5.2 %,poor APGAR scoret: at fifth minute ?- was 1.3 %,and neonatal morbidity was 9#2 % at reactive fetuses. The difference obtained was statistically significant (p 0.001). Our findings were compared with the previous studies.en_US
