İkinci Dünya Savaşı sonrası dönemde Avrupa`nın inşasında ABD`nin rolü

Abstract

Bu çalışmada II. Dünya Savaşı'yla birlikte başlayan güçler dengesi sisteminin değişimi ve bunun Batı Avrupa ile ABD üzerindeki etkileri anlatılacaktır. Savaş sonrası dönemde değişen güvenlik ortamının ve misyonların çerçevesinde sistemde meydana gelen dönüşümle İki Kutuplu Yapı'nın temel dinamikleri analiz edilecektir. Monroe Doktrini ile izolasyonist politikalar izleyen ABD'nin, Avrupa'nın Sovyetler Birliği tehlikesine karşılık kabuğundan ayrılmasına yer verilecektir. Ayrıca Avrupa'nın tarihsel süreçte yer alan birleşme ve bütünleşme fikrinin, ABD'nin verdiği siyasal, ekonomik, askeri ve sosyal destekle nasıl ilerlediği tartışılacaktır. Bununla birlikte Avrupa bütünleşmesinde ileri sürülen teorilerin içeriği tartışılacak ve ABD'nin Çevreleme Politikası adını verdiği korumacı politika ile temel prensiplerinin getirdiklerine vurgu yapılacaktır. This study attempts to explain the changes in the system of balance of power that began with World War II, and it's effects on the Western Europe and the United States of America. The fundamental dynamics of the polar structure, which occured within the framework of changing security environment and missions after the war, are examined. The isolationist politics of the U.S. with the Monroe Doctrine and the resulting success of the U.S. in opposing the threat coming from Europe and the U.S.S.R. are discussed. Futhermore, this study will discusses how Europe's ideas of integration and union moved forward with the political, financial, military and social support provided by the U.S.. In addition to this, the theories put forward regarding European integration are examined and the benefits of U.S.' containment policy and its fundamental principles are emphasized.
