Bursa Arkeoloji Müzesi`nde bulunan bir grup Roma Dönemi pişmiş toprak kandil

Abstract

Antik Dönem'de insanın aydınlanma gereksinimini sağladığı en önemli materyallerden biri kandil, Tarihsel süreçte her daim gelişim ve değişim içerisinde olmuştur. Kullanım yeri ve amacı çeşitlilik gösteren kandiller, kazılarda azımsanamayacak düzeyde ele geçen bir buluntu çeşitidir.Bursa Arkeoloji Müzesi deposunda yer alan kandillerden 41 adedi bu çalışmaya konu edilmiştir. Söz konusu kandiller kendi içerisinde tipolojik özelliklerine göre 10 grupta incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada yer alan en erken döneme ait kandil örneği MÖ 1.yüzyıl 2.yarısına tarihlenmektedir. En geç döneme tarihlenen kandil ise MS 6.yüzyıla aittir.

In ancient times, one of the most important materials that provided the human need for enlightenment, oil lamp has always been in development and change in the historical process. Oil lamps, whose use and purpose are varied, are a kind of finds that cannot be neglected during excavations.41 of the oil lamps in the depot of the Bursa Archaeological Museum were the subject of this study. These oil lamps were examined in 10 groups according to their typological characteristics. In this study, the earliest oil lamp sample in the BC. It is dated to the second half of the 1st century. Oil lamp dated to the latest period AD. It belongs to sixth century.
