Amın Maalouf romanlarında doğu batı çatışması

Abstract

Her iki medeniyete bakan yönüyle Doğu-Batı çatışması, somut bir olgu olarak tarihsel süreçte ilk kez haçlı seferleriyle başlamıştır. Savaş eksenli başlayıp oryantalist bir soyut ütopyaya dönüşen Doğu-Batı çatışması, modernleşme ile giderek alt boyutlarını genişletmiş ve günümüze gelindiğinde ise sosyal, siyasi, ekonomik, eğitim, dil, din ve evrensel ahlak ilkeleri gibi birçok alanda kendini hissettiren bir çerçeve halini almıştır. Günümüze bakan yanıyla bu çatışmanın Doğu karşısında, Batı medeniyetinin olumsuz bir tarihi bilinçaltından beslendiği görülmüştür. Nitekim yaşanan savaşlar, nefret algıları ve özellikle İslamofobi bu bilinçaltının en yıkıcı olan yanı olmuştur. Bunlardan hareketle hazırlanan bu çalışma ile Emin Maluf'un eserlerinde yer alan Doğu-Batı çatışması değerlendirilmiştir. İlk bölümde Doğu-Batı çatışmasının tarihi temelleri ve günümüze bakan yanıyla somut dinamiklerine yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise son dönem Arap edebiyatına genel bir çerçevede bakılarak Emin Maluf'un hayatı ve edebi şahsiyeti üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde ise Emin Maluf'un eserlerinde geçen Doğu-Batı çatışması unsurları konularına göre tasnif edilerek değerlendirilmiştir. Çatışma unsurları sosyal, kültürel siyasi, ekonomik, psikolojik ve dini boyutta sınıflandırılarak incelenmiştir. Bu değerlendirmeler yapılırken Maluf'un Doğu ve Batı Medeniyetinin kendi ile olan çatışmalarına da yer verilmiştir. Son bölümde ise genel bir değerlendirme yapılarak çalışma nihayete erdirilmiştir. In the aspect of facing both civilizations, the east-west conflict started with the crusades for the first time in the historical process as a concrete fact. The east-west conflict, which started with war-based and urnedin to an orientalist abstract utopia, gradually increased it subdimensions with modernization, and at the present time it became a frame work that felt itself in man yare as such as social, political, economic, education, language, religion and universal moral principles. When we look at the presentit is seen that this conflict against the east side is fed negative history subconscious of the western civilization. As a matter of fact, wars that are experienced hate perceptions and especially Islamophobia have been the most destructive side of this subconscious.Based on these studies, the East-West conflict in the works of Amin Maalouf are evaluated. In the first chapter, the historical foundations of the East-West conflict and its concrete Dynamics are considered. In the second part, thinking outside the box to the last period of Arabic literature Amin Maalouf's life and literary personality are mentioned.In the third part of the study, the elements of east-west conflict in Amin Maalouf's works are classified and evaluated according to their subjects. The factors of the conflict that are classified into social, cultural, political, economic, psychological and religious dimensions are examined. While these evaluations were made, the conflicts between the Eastern and Western civilization of Maalouf were also included.
