İlköğretim 3. sınıf hayat bilgisi ders kitaplarına ilişkin öğretmen görüşleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, öğretmenlerin ilköğretim 3. sınıf hayat bilgisi ders kitaplarının (1) içeriği, (2) dil ve anlatımı, (3) görsel düzen ve tasarımı ile ilgili görüşlerini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla;1.Öğretmenlerin İlköğretim 3. sınıf kitabının içeriğine ilişkin görüşleri nelerdir?2.Öğretmenlerin İlköğretim 3. sınıf hayat bilgisi ders kitabının dil ve anlatımına ilişkin görüşleri nelerdir?3.Öğretmenlerin İlköğretim 3. sınıf hayat bilgisi ders kitabının görsel düzen ve tasarımına ilişkin görüşleri nelerdir? Sorularına cevap aranmıştır.Araştırmanın evrenini 2008-2009 öğretim yılında Konya ili merkezindeki 189 ilköğretim okulunda görev yapan 3. sınıf öğretmenleri oluşturmuştur. Bu evrenden random (tesadüfî örnekleme) yoluyla seçilen, 93 okulda görev yapan 230 ilköğretim 3. sınıf öğretmeni örneklem olarak belirlenmiştir.Veri toplama aracı olarak hazırlanan anket 33 maddeden oluşmuştur. İçerik boyutunda 14, dil ve anlatım boyutunda 8, görsel düzen ve tasarım boyutunda 11 madde yer almıştır. Anketin cevapları beşli likert tipi ölçekle ?Tamamen Katılmıyorum?, ?Katılmıyorum?, ?Kısmen Katılıyorum?, ?Katılıyorum?, ?Tamamen Katılıyorum? şeklinde derecelendirilmiştir. Sonuçlar SPSS programı ile değerlendirilmiş, yüzde ve frekans tablolarına dönüştürülmüştür. Elde edilen bulgulara göre; öğretmenlerin ilköğretim 3. sınıf hayat bilgisi ders kitabının içerik, dil ve anlatım boyutları ile ilgili görüşleri genellikle olumludur. Öğretmenlerin ilköğretim 3. sınıf hayat bilgisi ders kitabının görsel düzen ve tasarım boyutu ile ilgili görüşleri de genellikle olumlu olmasına karşın bazı özelliklerde olumsuz görüşlerin oranı artmıştır. Bu nedenle, ders kitaplarının baskı, cilt ve kağıt kalitesine biraz daha dikkat edilmesi ve sözlük bölümünün daha kapsamlı olmasına dair öneriler getirilmiştir.

In this study, aimed to determine the opinions of teachers for the primary 3 class life sciences textbooks about (1) contents, (2) language and expression, (3) the visual layout and design. For this purpose answers sought for these questions;1.What are the opinions of teachers about the contents of the Primary 3rd class life sciences textbook?2.What are the opinions of teachers about the language and expression of the Primary 3rd class life sciences textbook?3.What are the opinions of teachers about the visual layout and design of the Primary 3rd class life sciences textbook?The universe of research consisted of 3rd classroom teachers who served in 189 primary schools in the center of Konya in the academic year 2008-2009. The sample was identified as 230, 3rd classroom teachers serving in 93 school which were selected by random in this population.Data were collected by a questionnaire consisting of 33 items was prepared. In content size 14 , language and expressive size 8, visual layout and design size 11 items took place. Survey responses rated with five likert-type scale as `Completely disagree`, `Disagree`, `Somewhat agree`, `Agree`, `Totally agree`. Results were analyzed with SPSS software, were converted to percentages and frequency tables. According to the findings, the opinions of teachers were possitive about the contents, language and expression of the primary 3rd class life sciences textbook. The opinions of teachers about visual layout and desing of the primary 3rd class life sciences textbook are usually possitive but some items the rate of negative opinions were increase. Therefore, make recommendations to be considered about print, bind and paper quality of textbooks and being to comprehensive dictionary section.
