Manzum hayvan masallarının anlama ve hatırlama becerilerine etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada mensur hayvan masallarıyla manzum hayvan masallarının 7.sınıf öğrencileri üzerindeki anlama ve hatırlama becerileri ölçülmüştür. Belirlenen hayvan masallarından uygun olan metinler seçilerek manzum hâle getirilmiştir. Manzum hâle getirilen metinlerdeki anlatıma yön veren önemli kelimeler, fiiller ve kalıplaşmış ifadeler anlaşılma farkını en aza indirecek şekilde düzenlenmiş, şiirsel yapıyı bozmayacak şekilde metne adapte olmaları sağlanmıştır.Çalışmada, hayvan masallarının vermek istediği dersin zihindeki kalıcılığı ölçüleceği için seçilen metinlerle ilgili sorular bu doğrultuda hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan sorularda Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı'nın 7. sınıf Türkçe derslerindeki fabl konuları için belirlediği kazanımlar dikkate alınmıştır. Kazanımlar kolaydan zora doğru sıralanarak puanlanmış, hazırlanan başarı testinin ölçmek istediği kazanımlara göre sorulara belirlenen puan değeri verilmiştir.Uygulama 36 haftalık bir süreyi kapsamaktadır. Araştırmada yansız atama yöntemiyle otuzar kişilik iki ayrı 7.sınıf öğrenci grubu belirlenmiş ve gruplara ön test uygulanmıştır. Ön test sonrasında deney grubuna uygulanan işlemlerde manzum hayvan masallarına ait metinler kullanılmış, kontrol grubuna uygulanan işlemlerde ise mensur hayvan masalları kullanılmıştır. 6 hafta sonra uygulamanın bitmesiyle deney ve kontrol gruplarına son test uygulanmıştır. Son testin 6 hafta sonrasında ise gruplara hatırlama testi yapılarak manzum masalı alan grupla, mensur masalı alan grubun hatırlama becerileri ölçülmüştür. İlk hatırlama testinden 24 hafta sonra ise ikinci hatırlama testi yapılmıştır.Uygulamanın sonucunda ise mensur hayvan masallarını alan grubun manzum hayvan masallarını alan gruba göre anlama ve hatırlama becerilerindeki üstünlüğü ortaya çıkmıştır.

Comprehension and remembering skills of prose fables and poetic fables on 7 year students have been measured in this research. Suitable texts from determined fables have been turned into poetic form. The key words, verbs, stereotyped expressions that lead the expression in poetic texts have been rearranged through minimizing understandable difference and have been provided adaptation to text without spoiling the poetic structure.The persistence of fables? theme in mind that is intended to be given in the fables will be measured so the questions have been provided in this aspect. At the prepared questions, the acquisition that were already determined by Ministry of National Education for 7 year students in Turkish Course fable subjects have been considered. Acquisitions have been aligned from simple to difficult in scored way; the questions have been given point according to acquisitions that the prepared success tests wants to measure.The application covers 36 weeks period. In the research two 7 year student groups composing 30 students have been determined by unbiased assigning method and pre-test has been applied to the groups. After pre-test, the texts belong to poetic fables, poetic fables texts were used at the processes that were applied to the experiment group, prose fables texts were used at the processes that were applied to the control group. At the end of 6 weeks, ending the application, the experiment and control groups were applied final test. 6 weeks later from last test the groups were applied reminding test and reminding skills of groups which were applied poetic fables and groups which were applied prose fables were measured. The second reminding test was applied after 24 weeks from the first reminding test.At the end of application, it has been concluded that the group that was applied prose fables are supreme than the group that was applied poetic fables in comprehension and remembering skills.
