Tavşan periferik sinirlerinin venöz drenajının araştırılması

Abstract

Rekonstrüktif mikrocerrahi pratiğinde periferik sinir yaralanmaları, rekonstrüksiyonlannın teknik zorluklan, yavaş iyileşmeleri, eziyetli sekelleri ve geç komplikasyona yatkınlıkları ile bilinirler. Bu tarz yaralanmaların patofîzyoloj isini çözmek ve uzun vadeli sonuçlarını iyileştirecek yöntemler bulmak için araştırıcılar sürekli bir gayret içerisindedir. Ancak plastik cerrahi pratiğinde çalıştığımız çoğu dokunun viabilitesinde ve işlevselliğinde hayati önemi bilinen venöz drenajın periferik sinirlerin iyileşme süreci üzerindeki tesiri araştırılmış değildir. Bu çalışmada, periferik sinirlerin venöz drenajlarının sinir iyileşmesindeki tesirini incelemeye yönelik çalışmalara bir model sağlamak amacıyla, beyaz Yeni Zelanda tavşanlarının, kurşun oksit-jelatin solüsyonu ile enjeksiyonlarını ve bu şekilde periferik kanın arteryel sistemden venöz sisteme itilmesini takiben median, radyal, ulnar, femoral, siyatik, tibial ve fibular sinirlerinin mikro diseksiyonlan yapılmıştır. İncelemeler sonucunda deneğin tutarlı periferik sistem venöz anatomisi ve çalışılabilir boydaki periferik sinirleri nedeniyle periferik sinirlerin venöz drenajlarının incelenmesine yönelik çalışmalara model teşkil etmek için uygun olduğuna, ve bu amaçla kullanılmaya en uygun sinirlerin de ön ekstremitede median sinir, arka ekstremitede de siyatik sinir olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Investigating the Venous Drainage Patterns of the Rabbit Peripheral Nervous System Peripheral nerve injuries are notorious for the challenging technique they demand for reconstruction, slow healing, ailing sequels, and tendency for late complications. Investigators are engaged in a constant effort to unravel the patophysiology behind this troublesome genre of injuries and develop techniques to alleviate consequences of it. Nevertheless, the stakes which venous drainage is known to have in reconstruction of practically every tissue handled in our discipline is not researched as it is merited to be in this particular field. In this study, the venous drainage patterns of white New Zealand rabbits' were examined in an effort to provide an animal model for studies focusing on the venous drainage of the healing nerves. Extremities of rabbits sacrificed via intra arterial lead oxide-gelatin solution, and thus had their peripheral bloods pushed out of the arteries and into the veins were dissected for the venous drainage of radial, median, ulnar, femoral, sciatic, tibial and fibular nerves. The observations reveal that white New Zealand rabbit is a feasible model for the deed due to its consistent venous anatomy draining the major nerves and accessibility and workability of the nerves mentioned. Of those dissected the most suitable set of nerves suitable for such studies seem to be the Median nerve in the front extremity, and Sciatic nerve in the rear.
