dc.description.abstractÖZET Bu çalışma Ekim 2000- Haziran 2001 tarihleri arasında Yatağan Termik Santrali çevresinde üç istasyondan ve tanık olarak seçilen Ortaca bölgesinden alınan örneklerle yapılmıştır. Belirlenen istasyonlardan alınan örnekler çam (Pinus brutia), servi (Cupressus sempervirens), okaliptüs (Ocaliptus cameldulensis), böğürtlen (Rubus canescens), zeytin (Olea europea), zakkum (Nerium oleander), buğday (Triticum sativum), bakla (Vicia faba), asma (Vitis vinifera), soğan (Allium cepa), sarımsak (Allium sativum), ebegümeci (Malva sylvestris), ıspanak (Spinacia oleracia) çeşitleri ve toprak olmak üzere toplam 14 adetten oluşmaktadır. Çalışma sonucunda bu örneklerde Yatağan Termik Santralinden kaynaklandığı düşünülen gross beta aktivitesi saptanmıştır. Sonuçlar daha önce yapılan benzer çalışmalarla da paralellik göstermekte ve özellikle bölge halkı ve çevre için durumun ciddiyetini ortaya koymaktadır.
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT In this study samples (plant and soil) were collected from 3 stations in the vicinity of the Yatağan termo-electnc power plant and from the control station in Ortaca between October 2000 and June 2001. 14 samples (13 plant and 1 soil) were collected from the determined stations. The samples were of the following plants: pine (Pinus brutia ), cypress( Cupressus sempervirens ), eucaliptus (Ocaliptus cameldulensis), blackberry (Rubus canescens), Olive (Olea europea), oleander (Nerium oleander), wheat(Triticum sativum), broad bean (Vicia âba), vine (Vitis vinifera), onion (Allium cepa), garlic (Allium sativum), spinach (Spinacia oleracea), mallow (Malva sylvestris). During the analysis of the samples gross beta activity caused most probably by the emission of the power plant was determined. The results of this study are in line with those of similar former studies, and the importance of the effects on population and environment of the area is pointed out.en_US
