Daha sonra elde edilen bu ligandların Cu(II), Ni(H) ve Co(H) klorür tuzlarıyla metal-ligand oram 1:2 olan geçiş metal kompleksleri sentezlendi. Sentezlenen ligandların ve metal komplekslerinin yapılan elementel analiz, IR,1H NMR, LC/MS, UV-Vis, atomik absorpsiyon spektroskopisi ve magnetik süssebtibilite teknikleri kullanılarak aydınlatılmıştır. dc.description.abstractVI SYNTHESIS OF DERIVATIVES OF 5-(p-SUBSTİTUE FENTLAZO) BARBITURIC ACID AND İNVESTİGATİON OF PROPERTİES OF SOME TRANSITION METAL COMPLEXES (ML Sc Thesis) Bülent KIRKAN MUGLA UNIVERSITY EVSTTTUE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY 2005 ABSTRACT In this study, four new azo dyes containing barbituric acid and p-aminobenzoic acid hydrazone, 5-{[[4-(phenyl)methlylene]hydrazinocarbonil]phenylazo}6- hydroxypyrimidine-2,4-dion (HLi), 5-{[[4-(phenyl)methlylene]hydrazinocarbonil] phenylazo}6-hydroxy-l,3dimethlypyrimidine-2,4-dion (HL2), 5-{[[4-(4- hydroxyphenylazo)metUylene]hydrazinocarbonü]phenylazo}6-hydroxypyrimidine- 2,4-dion (HL3), 5-{[[4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)methlylene]hydrazinocarbonil]phenylazo} 6-hydroxy-l,3dimeMypyriniidme-2,4-dion (HL4), were synthesized in order to synthesis of azo compounds, the diazonium salts of p-aminobenzoic acid [(phenyl/ p- hydroxyphenyl)methlylene]hydrazide were reacted with barbituric acid and 1,3 dimethyl barbituric acid at 0-5 °C. The pH of reaction mixture was maintained within 9-10 during coupling. Then, the complexes of diazonium ligands were synthesized by reacting Cu(H), Ni(D) and Co(H) chloride salts with azo-dyes in methanolic solution. The stoichiometrics of the complexes are (1:2) (M:L). The structures of both ligands and complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, LC/MS, UV- Visible, atomic absorption spectroscopy and magnetic susceptibility measurements.
