Dr. Behiye KÖKSEL Ocak, 2003, 164 sayfa Bu çalışmada Gazi Antep ve çevresinde daha önce yaşamış ve hala yaşamakta olan şairlere ve âşıklara yer verilmiştir. Bu kişilerin hayatlarını, sanatlarım ve şiirlerini âşıklık geleneği içinde değerlendirerek, âşıklık geleneğinin kökleşmiş olduğu bölgelere göre karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. Ayrıca, Gazi Antep'in geçmişten gelen kültür yapısı ile âşıklık geleneğinin ne şekilde ortaya çıktığı ve nasıl devam ettiği hakkında çeşitli bilgiler verilmiştir. Bunlar, yazılı kaynaklar ile şahıslardan yapılan derlemeler sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır. Anlatmaya çalıştığımız bu bilgiler, bunların genel yorumları neticesinde meydana gelmiştir. Çalışmamız, bizden sonra yapılacak olan çalışmalara da zemin hazırlayan bir yapıdadır. XI

By evaluating the life, art and poems of these people according to the âşık traditions, the comparison is carried out depending on the regions. Where the roots of âşık tradition stem from. In addition, under the light of Gazi Antep' s culture back ground, the information about how âşık tradition is born and progressed in past is documented in details. These are culmination of the written documents on this area and one-on-one interviews with the poets.This paper is an interpretation of the collected information. Ourwork has the nature of being a basis for the next researches on this topic. XII
