Abstract

X ÖZET Gaziantep Bibliyografyası (1790-1928), SEVEROĞLU, Semiha Zehra, Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Tarih Ana Bilim Dalı, Tez Yöneticisi: Yrd.Doç.Dr. Celal PEKDOĞAN, Haziran 2004, 389 sayfa 19. yüzyıldan itibaren sosyal bilimler içerisindeki yerini alan tarih, uzun yıllar siyaset merkezli yapısını korumuştur. Ancak 20. yüzyılın ikinci yansından itibaren bu anlayış değişmiş, tarih toplum merkezli olarak yazılmaya başlamıştır. Bu anlayış çerçevesinde gerek dünyada gerekse Türkiye'de köy, şehir ve bölge tarihi çalışmaları büyük bir hızla artmış, konu edilen bölge ve şehirlerin tarihi ve kültürü aydınlatılmıştır. Gaziantep de bu şehirlerden biridir. Gaziantep, stratejik konumu ve iklim koşullan dolayısıyla ilk çağlardan beri insan topluluklarının yerleşme ve geçit sahası olmuştur. Bu da Gaziantep'in önemli ölçüde tarihî ve kültürel mirasa sahip olmasını sağlamıştır. Çalışmada bu mirası ortaya çıkarmak ve araştırmak isteyenlere Gaziantep ile ilgili bir bibliyografya hazırlanmıştır. Bibliyografya 1790-1928 yıllan arası Gaziantep tarihi ve kültürüne ait başvurulabilecek dokümanlan ihtiva etmektedir. Tarih araştırmalannda ilk gidilecek yer arşivlerdir. En güvenilir ve birinci elden bilgiyi arşivlerde bulunabilir. Bu nedenle çalışmada devlet arşivlerinden olan Başbakanlık Osmanlı ve Cumhuriyet Arşivleri 'nde bulunan Gaziantep ile ilgili belgelerin bir bölümü katalog şeklinde sunulmuştur.XI Bir şehirle ilgili araştırma yaparken sadece arşivlerden faydalanılmaz. Başvuru kaynaklarından biri de şehirle ilgili yapılmış çeşitli yayınlardır. 1790-1928 yıllan arası Gaziantep ile ilgili yayınlar araştırılırken Ankara ve İstanbul'daki çeşitli kütüphanelerden faydalanıldı. Ulaşılabilen yayınlar, birkaç Arap harfli Türkçe eserle, o dönemin popüler yayınlan olan salnamelerden ibarettir.

Neverthless, this understanding has changed since the second half of the 20 th century, history has begun to be written socio-centrally. Both in world and in Turkey, with this comprehension, the research over the villages, the cities and the regions spread rapidly, the history and the culture of the ones put into light. Gaziantep is one of these cities. Gaziantep, due to strategic position and climate condition became settlement and passage for the people from the ancient ages. Thus, it provides Gaziantep had great cultural and historical heritage. In this bibliography is prepared related to Gaziantep for who wants to search and put these inheritance into light. It includes the documents belonging to Antep culture and history between 1790-1928. The first places to visit for the historical work are archives. The first hand and the most reliable information is found in there. Therefore the documents are fromXIII Ottoman Premiership Archives and Republic Archives, related to Gaziantep presented as catalogue. When the research is done about cities, of course, the only source is not archives. One of them is former publications about cities. The libraries in Ankara and Istanbul were used when the publications about Anteb between 1790-1928 were searched. The publications of which were reached are some Arabic-letter Turkish works and the popular works of the period, salname.
