Bu çalışmada, en önemli şekil verme uygulamalımdan olan soğuk şekil verme metodu kapsamında kalıpların ömürlerinin arttırılması incelenmiştir. Kalıp ömürlerinin uzatılması için kullanılan işlemlerden Karbür Kaplama özel olarak incelenmiş ve bu metodu optimum kılan ortam olarak Akışkan Yatak Sistemi diğer sistemlerle karşılaştırılmıştır.

In this project ; using fluidised bed systems, carbide coating method had explained and all parameters had optimised to improve plane forming moulds. Today, continous or sub-contract heat treatment applications are done using different mediums in the metal industry.Modern process require closer control of atmosphere and temperature level and their uniformity, while at the same time complying with the operator's need the fluidised bed furnaces are increasingly used instead of conventional furnaces heat for treatment operations in industrilized countries.Now, any fluidised bed furnace is not used in Turkish Industry because it's unknown by heat treaters. In this study, the feasibility of fluidised beds for heat treatment of metalic companents and suitability of such techniques for industrial scale applications are presented.en_US
