Matris malzeme elyaflara üniform yük dağılımını sağlar ve karma malzemeyi kırılmayı başlatan abrazyon ve çevresel korozyon gibi etkilere karşı korur. Bu çalışmada sürekli cam elyaf takviyeli termoset polyester karma malzemede çevresel etkilerin mekanik özelliklere etkisi incelenmiştir.

The matrix resin provides uniform load distribution to the fiber and protects or safeguards the composite surface against abrasion or environmental corrosion, either of which can initiate fracture. In this study, environmental effects on the mechanical behaviour of continuous glass fiber reinforced thermoset polyester composites are investigated.en_US
