dc.description.abstractHidroksi metakrilat polimerleri endüstride ve ti palamda geniş olarak kulanılırlar. 3-Tetrahidrofurfuriloksi- 2- hidroksi propil metakrilat monomeri metakrilik asit, tetrahidrofurfuril alkol ve epi klor hidri nden sentezlendi. Homopolimerizasyon ve N- vinilpirolidön, (2-fenil-1,3-dioksalan-4-il) metil metakrilat monomerleriyle kopolimenzasyon, azobisizobütironitril ve benzoil peroksit başlatıcısı kullanılarak 1,4- dioban çözücüsünde 6ü°C'de gerçekleştirildi. Monomer, homopolimer ve kopolimerin karakterizasyonunda, infrared, proton ve karbon- 1.3 nükleer mag'netik rezonans teknikleri kullanıldı.. Polimerlerin çözünürlük parametreleri titrasyon yöntemiyle, yoğunlukları piknometre ve yüzdürme yöntemiyle bulundu. Polimerlerin camsı geçiş sıcaklıkları DSC ile belirlendi. Polimerlerin termal özellikleri TGAile belirlendi. Homopolimerin molekül ag`ırlı$ GPC ile belirlendi. Kopolimer bileşenleri elementel analiz ve !H-NMR spektrumundan bulundu. 3-Tetrahidrofurfuriloksi- 2-hidroksipropil metakrilat ve (2-fenil-l,3-dioksalan-4-il) metil metakrilat'ın kopolirnerizasyonunda reaktivite oranları Kelen-Tudos ve Fînemann-Ross metodîarmla hesaplandı. dc.description.abstractHydroxymethacrylate polymers are extensively used in industrial and biomedical fields. 3-Te4rahydroxyfurfuryloxy-2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate monomer was prepared from methacrylic acid, tetrahydrofurfuryl alchol and epichlorhydrin. Homopolymerization and copolymerization with (2-pheny1-1,3-dioxolane-4-yl) methyl methacrylate and N- vinyl pyrolidone monomers vere carried out in 1,4-dioxane solution at 6CPC using benzoyl peroxide and azobisisobutyronitrile as initiator. Infrared., proton and carbon- 13 nuclear magnetic rezonance tecniques vere used in characterizations of the monomer, the homopolymer and the copolymers. The solubility parameters and densities of the polymers vere found by titration, and floation method and also picnometer respectively. The glass transition temperatures of polymers have been determined by DSC. Thermal stabilites of polymers vere studied by TGA. The moleculer veight of the homopolymer were obtained by GPC measurements. The copolymer compositions were found from elementel analysis and *H-NMR spectra. The reactivity ratios in copolymerization of 3- tetrahydrofurfuryloxy-2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate and (2-phenyl-l,3-dioxolane-4-yl) methyl methacrylate vere calculated by both Kelen-Tudos and Finemann-Ross methods.
