Nehir ve rezervuar sedimentasyonu

Abstract

ÖZET Bu tez çalışmasında genel olarak sedimantasyonun hidrolik prensipleri ile beraber sediment özellikleri, sediment yükü ve rezervuar sedimantasyonu hakkında bir araştırma yapıldıktan sonra bir örnek çalışmayla rezervuar sedimantasyonu hesaplamaları yapılmıştır. Bunun için Karakaya Barajı üzerinde bir örnek çalışma yapmak için seçilmiş ve birer bilgisayar programı ile Meyer - Peter ve Müller ile Değiştirilmiş Einstein Metotları uygulanmıştır. Meyer - Peter ve Müller Yöntemine göre rezervuar girişinde oluşan delta sebebiyle nehir kıyılarını sel basabileceği şeklinde bir tahmin yapılmıştır. Değiştirilmiş Einstein yöntemi ile elde edilen sonucun ise gerçeği yansıtmaktan uzak olması sebebi ile bu metodun uygulandığı bölgeye uygun hale getirilmesi gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır.

ABSTRACT In this M. Sc. thesis generally sediment properties, sediment load and reservoir sedimentation are studied and an investigation about reservoir sedimentation is carried out as a case study. Karakaya Dam Reservoir is chosen for this case study. Then Meyer - Peter and Müller, and Modified Einstein Methods are applied for this reservoir. Because of the delta that will be formed at the entrance of the reservoir according to Meyer - Peter and Müller Method, it is expected that the lands adjacent to the river at these regions may be flooded. Since the results obtained from Modified Einstein Method are thought to be far from explaining the real case, it is concluded that this method must be modified to be made applicable before its use for a specific region.
