Abstract

Aile, toplumun temelini oluşturan sosyal bir kurumdur. Bir toplumun gelenek, görenek, örf ve adetleri, dili ve dininin yaşandığı en küçük topluluk olarak aileyi vermek doğru olacaktır. Toplumun temel yapısını oluşturan aile, gelecek nesillere kültürel aktarım noktasında da önemli roller üstlenmektedir. Bir milletin ilerlemesi, çağdaş düzene ayak uydurup gelişmesi, aile kurumunun sosyal ve psikolojik sağlığıyla yakından ilgilidir. Öyle ki, aile kurumunda ortaya çıkan problemler bu kurumun üyelerinin toplumla olan ilişkilerini doğrudan etkilemektedir. Bu çerçevede tarihin farklı dönemlerinde de olduğu gibi şiddet, aile kurumunun sarsılmasında önemli bir olumsuz faktör olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Yapmış olduğumuz bu çalışmada aile içi şiddetinin özellikle kadına yönelik boyutu ele alınmıştır. Aile içi şiddetin sebeplerinin yanı sıra şiddet mağdurunda bırakmış olduğu etkilere, yaşamındaki değişikliklere ve toplum içerisindeki yerine dikkat çekilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Aile, Aile İçi Şiddet, Şiddet, Kadına Yönelik Şiddet, Sığınma Evleri

Family is a social institution which constitutes the foundation of the society. It is well known that family is the smallest community which constitutes the customs, traditions, language and religion of the society. The family also, which is headstone of the society, takes an important role in cultural transmission to hand down to the next generation. A progression of the nation and its development and keeping up with the modern world is closely connected with social and psychological aspects. It seems that the problems, which are emerged in the family, directly affect the relations of the people with the society. In this point of view, in the different periods of the history shows us that violence is an important factor which damages the family members. In this article, the violence especially against the women in the family will be discussed. In addition to the reasons of the domestic violence, this paper points out that the effects on the victims of violence, the changes of her life and place in the society.
