dc.description.abstractÖZET Yüksek Lisans Tezi 1,8-DİAMİNONAFTALİNDEN ELDE EDİLEN SCHIFF BAZININ Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) KOMPLEKSLERİNİN SENTEZİ VE KARAKTERİZASYONU Nevin TURAN Fırat Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Kimya Anabilim Dalı 2003, Sayfa: 34 Bu çalışmada 8-amino-[l-(2-hidroksifenil)imino]naftalen ligandı (LH) ve onun bazı geçiş metal kompleksleri sentezlendi. 1,8-Diaminonaftalin ve Salisilaldehit'in kondenzasyonu ile 8-amino-[l-(2- hidroksifenil)imino]naftalen ligandı (LH) hazırlandı. Daha sonra bu ligand ile Co(II), Ni(II) ve Cu(II) kompleksleri sentezlendi. Sentezlenen ligand ve komplekslerin yapıları, Molar İletkenlik, Elementel Analiz, Magnetik Süsseptibilite, İR, UV-VIS, 'H-NMR Spektroskopisi teknikleri kullanılarak karakterize edildi. Co(II), Ni(II) ve Cu(II) komplekslerinin sırasıyla karedüzlem geometri, tetrahedral geometri ve karedüzlem (dimerik) yapıya sahip oldukları sonucuna varıldı. dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Master Thesis SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) COMPLEXES of SCHIFF BASE OBTAINED FROM 1,8-DI AMINON APHTH ALENE Nevin TURAN Fırat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Chemistry 2003; Page: 34 In this work, 8-amino-[l-(2-hydroxyphenyl)imino]naphthalene (LH) and its some transition metal complexes were synthesized. 8-amino-[l-(2-hydroxyphenyl)imino]naphthalene (LH) has been prepared via the condensation of 1,8-Diaminonaphthalene and salicylaldehyde. Then, Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes were synthesized by this ligand. The structure of synthesized ligand and complexes were characterized by using Molar conductance, Elemental Analysis, Magnetic Susceptibility, IR, UV-VIS, 'H-NMR Spectroscopy techniques. It is concluded that Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes have square -planer geometry, tetrahedral geometry and square-planer (dimerik) structure, respectively.
