dc.description.abstract | ÖZET Yüksek Lisans Tezi 1,3,4-TIYADIAZOLDEN ELDE EDİLEN SCHIFF BAZININ DEĞİŞİK METAL KOMPLEKSLERİNİN SENTEZİ VE KAREKTERİZASYONU Mustafa POLAT Fırat Üniversitesi Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Kimya Anabilim Dalı 2004, Sayfa: 37 Bu çalışmada 2-(2-Hidroksibenzalamino)-5-fenil-l,3,4-tiyadiazol ligandı (LH) ve onun bazı geçiş metal kompleksleri sentezlendi. 5-Fenil-2-amino-l,3,4-tiyadiazol ile salisilaldehit'in kondenzasyonu ile 2-(2-hidroksibenzalamino)-5-fenil-l,3,4-tiyadiazol ligandı (LH) hazırlandı. Daha sonra bu ligand ile Cu(II), Ni(II) ve Co(II) kompleksleri sentezlendi. Sentezlenen ligand ve komplekslerin yapılan, Elementel Analiz, Magnetik Süsseptibilite, İR, UV-VIS, !H-NMR Spektroskopisi teknikleri kullamlarak karakterize edildi. Cu(II), Ni(II) ve Co(II) komplekslerinin sırasıyla karedüzlem, bozulmuş oktahedral ve bozulmuş oktahedral geometriye sahip oldukları sonucuna varıldı. dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT Master Thesis SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF NOVEL COMPLEXES OF SCHIFF BASE OBTAINED FROM 1,3,4-THIADIAZOLE Mustafa POLAT Fırat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciencies Department of Chemistry 2004; Page: 37 In this work, 2-(2-Hydroxyberızalamino)-5-perül-l,3,4-thiadiazole (LH) and its some transition metal complexes were synthesized. 2-(2-Hydroxybenzalamino)-5-penil-l,3,4-thiadiazole (LH) has been prepared via the condensation of 2-Amino-5-phenil-l,3,4-thiadiazole and salicylaldehyde. Then, Cu(IT), Ni(II) and Co(II) complexes were synthesized by this ligand. The structure of synthesized ligand and complexes were characterized by using, Elemental Analysis, Magnetic Susceptibility, IR, UV-VIS, 'H-NMR Spectroscopy Techniques. It is concluded that Cu(II), Ni(IT) and Co(II) complexes have square-planer, distorted octahedral and distorted octahedral geometry structure, respectively.
