dc.description.abstract | ÖZET Yüksek Lisans Tezi 1,3,4-TİYADİAZİN HALKASI İÇEREN SCHIFF BAZI İLE GEÇİŞ METAL KOMPLEKSLERİNİN SENTEZİ VE KARAKTERİZASYONU Filiz AKGUN Fırat Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Kimya Anabilim Dalı 2005, Sayfe: 52 Bu çalışmada, 2-{(E)-[(5-ferıü-6H-l53,4-tiyadiazin-2il)irmno]metm}-l-naftol ligandı (L'H), 5-m^o-2-{[(5-fimWH-l,3,4-tivadia2m-2-il)imino]metin}fenol ligandı (L2H), 5^netoksi-2-{(E)[(5- feml^H-l^^-tiyadiazin^^öiminolmetinyfenol ligandı (L3H) ve bunların bazı geçiş metal kompleksleri sentezlendi. Çalışmada, 1,3,4-tiyadiazin; 1-hidroksi naftaldehit,2-hidroksi 5-nhro benzaldehit,, 2-hidroksi 5-metoksi benzaldehit ile 2-{(EH(5-feml^H-l,3,4-tiyadiazin-2il)imino]metin}-l-naftol ligandı (L'H), 5-nitro-2-{[(5-fenU-6H-l,3,4-tiya<lia2in-2-ü)imino3metm}fenoi ligandı (L2H), 5-metoksi-2- {(E)[(5-feniWH-l,3,44iyadia2m-2-il)imino]metm}fenol (L3H) schiff baz ligandlarını elde etmek için reaksiyona sokuldu. Tüm kompleksler 1 :2 metaMigand oranına sahiptir. Sonuçta üç yeni ligand ve sekiz kompleks sentezlendi. Sentezlenen ligand ve komplekslerin yapılan, FT-IR, ]H-NMR, erime noktası, termal analiz, elementel analiz, Ultraviyole Spektroskopisi ve Mağnetik süsseptibilite ölçümleri gibi enstrumental yöntemlerle karakterize edildi. dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT Master Thesis SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION of SCHIFF BASE THAT ARE CONTAINING 1,3,4-THIADIAZINE AND ITS TRANSITION METAL COMPLEXES Filiz AKGÜN Fırat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Chemistry 2005; Page: 52 In this work, 2-{(E)-[(5-phenyl^H-l,3,4-tbadiazin-2yl)imino]methyn}-l-naphthol (L'H), 5-mtro-2-{[(5-phenyWH-l,3,4-lMadia2dn-2-yl)imino]methyn}phenol (L2H), 5-methoxy-2-{(E)[(5- phenyl-6H-l,3,4-tmadiazm-2-yl)imino]methyn}phenol (I/H) and their some transition metal complexes were synthesized. In the work performed, 1,3,4 tiyadiazine were reacted with 1 hydroxy naphthaldehyde, 2- hychoxy-5-nitro-benzaldehyde and 2-hydroxy-5-metoksi-benzaldehyde to obtained 2-{(E)-[(5-phenyl- 6H-l,3,4-tmadiazm-2yl)irriino]methyn}-l-naphthol (LrH2), 5-nitro-2-{[(5-phenyl-6H-l,3,4- tinadiazin-2-yl)imino]methyn}phenoi(L2H2), and 5-methoxy-2-{(E)[(5-phenyl-6H- 1,3,4-thiadiazin-2- yl)imino]methyn}phenol (L3H2> schiff base ligands. All complexes have a metal:ligand ratio of 1:2. fn conclusion, three new ligands and their eight complexes have been synthesized. The structure of synthesized ligands and their complexes have been investigated by instrumental methods; FT-IR, !H-NMR, melting point, thermal analysis, elemental analysis, UV- Visible Spectroscopy and Magnetic Susceptibility measurements.
