dc.description.abstract | Taking cultural wealth out of the country without permission and secretly has been a movement that persisted since the historical ages. Interest in cultural monuments has largely increased in the economically strenghtened European countries and America in the second half of the century. As a result of this, various organizations developed in these countries, illegal companies, institutions occurred. Besides, the large budget set apart by museum and galleria collectioners for the purchase of old monuments, turned this into a profitable business. Increases in old monument stock exchanges and low penalty sanctions of the harmed countries instigated this illegal movement even more. Low level of education, few number of educated specialists, low power to purchase museums, and the lack of cooperation in between museums has positively affectted smuggling of old monuments. The notion that cultural wealth shall be left and maintained where they are has gained its place in international law with the La Haye aggreement prepared under the supervision of UNESCO (1954). The first move was made with the Europe Culture Agreement that also aimed to develop cultural cooperation at European scales.Today, it is largeley accepted that the cultural heritage of each country is an important factor in determinin the identity of that country. The urge of arranging the issue of cultural monuments in international law has become inevitable upon the increasingly developing illegal and global bazaar on cultural monuments. | |

The Western Trace Turkish Literature is the best example of this cultural existance and we should take into considerationthe political structure while studing the reasons that this literature came into being. In general, inspite of the political environment which was an important obstacle to the development of the Turkish culture, the local Turkish literature didn?t only show an important grow up but also this negative enviroment, played a stimulative role for the literature to make progress. We understand this from the fact that the Western Thrace Turkish Literature has developed in a social way and this isthe most distinctive feature of it.The part with the title ?Batı Trakya Türk Edebiyatında Edebiyat Türleri? (The Literature Types in the Western Thrace Turkish Literature) starts with a poem which is a literary from and an example of which we meet in most of the products of the local literature. After that, the stories, which are another kind of a literary from and which we often meet, are described from the point of subject matter, plot, characters, time, place and technical elements. Lastly, the novel, which is the from of the local literature with the fewest examplew, is carefully examined from the point of material and technical elements.Key WordsLiterature MigrationPoem StoryNovel NovelistEvent CharactersTime Place | en_US |
