Sevgi Soysal`in Yenişehir`de Bir Öğle Vakti romanında sıfatlar ve üsluba katkısı

Abstract

ÖZET SEVGİ SOYSAL'IN `YENİŞEHİR'DE BİR ÖĞLE VAKTİ` ROMANINDA SD7ATLAR VE ÜSLÛBA KATKISI SÖKMEN, SÜLEYMAN ALPER Yüksek Lisans-2003 Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Danışman: Yard. Doç. Dr. Hülya PÎLANCI Bu çalışmanın amacı, genelde, üslûp değeri taşıyan bir dil malzemesinin eserdeki görünümünü ortaya koymak ve buradan üslûba ulaşmaya çalışmak; özelde ise, Sevgi Soysal'm Yenişehir'de Bir Öğle Vakti romanındaki sıfatların görünümünü ortaya koymak ve sıfatlardan yola çıkarak üslûbuna ulaşmaktır. Çalışmada, üslûp değeri taşıyan sıfatlar fişleme yöntemiyle tespit edildikten sonra -kullanım değerleri de dikkate alınarak- çeşitli kategorilere ayrılmış ve sıfatların sıklıklarına bakılmıştır. Çalışmada tasvirî (descriptive) ve tekevvünî (oluşumsal) üslûp inceleme metotlarından faydalanılmıştır. Tabiî ki dilbilimin ve psikolojinin verileri de göz ardı edilmemiştir. Bu çalışmada sıfatların görünümü, Soysal'm, sıfat unsurlarından ne şekilde yararlandığı, üslûp değeri taşıyan herhangi bir dil malzemesinden yola çıkılıp bir eserin/ yazarın üslûbuna ulaşılabileceği, -en azandan- üslûba ulaşmada bunun fikir verebileceği ve bir eserin çözümlenmesinde birden fazla bilim/ bilgi dalından aynı anda faydalanmak gerektiği, örneklerle ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.

11 ABSTRACT THE ADJECTIVES IN SEVGİ SOYSAL'S NOVEL WHICH IS CALLED `YENİŞEHİR'DE BİR Ö?LE VAKTİ` AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO STYLISTlCS SÖKMEN, SÜLEYMAN ALPER Master Thesis-2003 Turkish Language and Literature Advisor: Assistant Professor Dr. Hülya PÎLANCI The purpose of this study, generally, is to suggest the appearance of a language material conveying a stylistic value in the work and to reach the stylistics; specifically, to suggest the appearance of the adjectives in Sevgi Soysal's novel which is called `Yenişehir'de Bir Öğle Vakti` and to reach the style of the author through the adjectives. In the study, first, the adjectives which have stylistic value have been determined by index card method -also considering the value of use- then they have been broken into various categories and their frequency have been determined. The methods exploited in the study are descriptive and formative style analysis methods. Also, the data of linguistics as well as psychology have been taken into account. As a result, the appearance of the adjectives has been determined; furthermore, it has been discovered that in what way Sevgi Soysal used the adjectival elements and it has been understood that a work or an author's style may be discovered and accordingly the work might bö analyzed through any language material which has a stylistic value or at least it could give some ideas in discovering the style. Besides, it has been suggested by some examples that it takes more than one discipline or field of study for the analysis of a work.
