II. Meşrutiyet dönemindeki en büyük muhalefet hürriyet ve İtilaf fırkası

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı, Osmanlı Devleti'nde 1911 yılında kurulan ve kesintiliolarak 1922 yılına kadar varlık gösteren Hürriyet ve tilâf Fırkası'nın OsmanlıDevletinin demokratikleşmesindeki rolünü değerlendirmektir.Çalışma sırasında, fırka hakkında sağlıklı değerlendirme yapabilmek içinkonuyla ilgili arşiv belgelerinden, o dönemde yayınlanmış gazetelerdenyararlanılmıştır.Çalışma sonucunda Hürriyet ve tilâf Fırkası'nın II. Meşrutiyet dönemindettihat ve Terakki Fırkasına karşı güçlü bir muhalefet olduğu ve Osmanlı Devletitarihinde, ilk defa, iki güçlü fırka arasında büyük bir rekabetin ortaya çıktığıanlaşılmıştır. Ayrıca Hürriyet ve tilâf Fırkası'na katılan fırkaların ve ttihat veTerakki Fırkası'nın programları, Hürriyet ve tilâf Fırkası programıylakarşılaştırılmış ve bu fırkaların II. Meşrutiyet döneminde devlet ve demokrasihakkında ne gibi benzer veya farklı görüşler benimsedikleri ortaya konulmuştur.

The aim of this work is to evaluate the role of the Ottoman Empire isbecoming democratic of The Party of Liberty and the Entente which was establishedin 1911 and has been existing to be marked by interruptions until 1922.During this work, to make a reliable evaluation about the party, it had beenbenefited by some newspapers which were published at that term and by somearchieve documents which become related to this topic.It was understand that form the evaluation which was made after a longperiod working, The Party of Liberty and the Entente had formed a powerfulopposition against The Party of Union and Progress, and also the Ottoman Empirehad been setting for a big rivalry of the two parties, this is the first time in it?shistory. Besides, when The Party of Liberty and the Ententes? programmes comparedwith other parties programmes which joined to the party like the The Party of Unionand Progress. We can understand that what kind of similar views or differentopinions they have and how they can assimilate them become democratic and forgovernment in the second period of the Constituional Monarchy.
