Hâlid B. Velîd`in İslam fetihlerindeki rolü ve komutanlığı

Abstract

Biz bu çalışmamızda İslam Tarihi'nde ''Allah'ın Kılıcı'' ünvanı ile meşhur olan Hâlid b. Velid'in hayatı ve şahsiyeti hakkında bilgi vermeye çalıştık. Yine bu çalışmamızda Hâlid b. Velîd'in İslam fetihlerindeki aktif rolüne çok ayrıntıya girmeden değindik. Ayrıca Hâlid b. Velid' in Müslüman olmadan önceki hayatıyla Müslüman olduktan sonraki hayatını kıyaslayarak onun sahâbe neslinde ne kadar önemli bir yere sahip olduğunu göstermeye çalıştık. Hâlid b. Velîd'in bir komutan olarak askerî alandaki başarılarının ne derece olduğunu öğrenmek için savaşlardaki taktiklerine bakarak harp tarihi açısından nasıl yöntemler denediğini anlatmaya çalıştık. Bunlara ilaveten, çok tartışılan başkumandanlığından azledilme hususunun sebeplerini, araştırmacı bir bakış açısı ile ele alarak konu ile alakalı başta birinci elden kaynaklar olmak üzere tetkik eserler ışığında konu ile ilgili bilgi vermeye çalıştık.
