Suyu Arayan Adam`ın dili

Abstract

Bu tez, Şevket Süreyya Aydemir'in `Suyu Arayan Adam` adlı eseri üzerine dil veüslûp çalışmasıdır. Şevket Süreyya Aydemir'in eserleri tarihi ve siyasi yönden incelendiğihalde dil yönünden incelenmemiştir. Dolayısıyla, bu çalışmada yakın tarihi anlatan eserleriyletanınan yazarın bu yönünü göstermeye gayret ettim. Bu tezin kapsamı ise kısaca bununlailgilidir.Şöyle ki, bu çalışma Suyu Arayan Adam'ın dil özellikleri, yazarın üslûbu ve bu eserintarihi süreçteki yeri hakkındadır. Ayrıca bu çalışmada Türkçenin 20. yüzyıldaki değişimi,ülkede ve dünyada değişen şartlar, yazarın düşünce dünyası ve yazarın yetiştiği ortam gibiçeşitli meseleler yer alır. Bütün bunların esere etkisi, dönem itibariyle dildeki değişimin esereyansımaları da üzerinde durulan diğer meselelerdir.Aydemir, bu eserinde kendi hayat hikayesi etrafında dönemin olaylarını verir. O,başından geçenleri ve dönemin önemli olaylarını olduğu gibi anlatmaz. Dönemin ve kişilerinpsikolojik durumunu da ortaya koyar. Eserlerinde sorgulamalar yapar. O, sıradan olaylarıderinleştirir. Şairce ifadeleri sık kullanır. Bu şairce ifadeler her yerde karşımıza çıkmaz.Bunlar olması gerektiği yerdedir ve dengelidir. Türkçenin gramer mantığına uygun olarakyazar. Onun cümleleri genellikle kurallıdır. Suyu Arayan Adam'da devrik cümle birkaçistisna dışında yoktur. Bu çalışmada yazarı, dönemi, şartları, dildeki değişimin belli birevresini ve Suyu Arayan Adam'daki üslûbun çeşitli yönlerini izah etmeye çalıştım.

This thesis is a study on language and style of work named `Suyu Arayan Adam` ofŞevket Süreyya Aydemir. While some of Aydemir's works have been studied in historical andpolitical aspects but they have not been studied in aspects of linguistic.Therefore, in thisstudy, I tried to show this aspect of the author known for his works describing recenthistory.The scope of this thesis is briefly about it.This work is about the language features of Suyu Arayan Adam, the author's style, andthe place of this work in the historical process. In addition, in this study, there are also otherissues such as the change of Turkish language in the 20th century, the changing conditions inthe country and in the world, the author's world of idea, and the environment in which theauthor grew up.The effects of all these on the work, and the reflecktions of the change in thelanguage as of the period on the work are other issues that are emphasized.In this work, Aydemir gives events of the period around his own life story. He doesnot describe what he went through and the important events of the period as they were. Healso reveals the psychological state of the period and people. He makes interrogations in hisworks. He deepens ordinary events. He often uses poetic expressions. These peoticexpressions don't come across everywhere. These are where they should be and they arebalanced. He writes accordance with the grammatical logic of Turkish. His sentences areusually canonical. There is no inverted sentence in the Suyu Arayan Adam with a fewexpections. In this study, I tried to explain the author, the period, a certain phase of change inthe language, and the various aspects of his style in the Suyu Arayan Adam.
