dc.description.abstractÖZET Çalışmamızda normal gebelik yaşında ve prematür doğan bebeklerde 0.,20.,40. ve 70. günlerdeki biotinidaz aktivite değişikliklerinin izlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gebelik yaşları 38-42 ( n=168 ) hafta olan yenidoğanlarda 0.gün biotinidaz aktivitesi kontrol grubu düzeyinin %54' ünü, 20. gün %80'ini 40. gün %88'ini ve 70. gün %92'sini gösterdi. Sıfırına gün biotinidaz aktivitesi 20.(p< 0.001 ),40. ( P<0.001 ), 70. (P< 0.001 ) günlerden, 20. gün biotinidaz aktivitesi 40. ( p<0.001 ), 70. (p<0.001) günlerden,40.gün biotinidaz aktivitesi ise 70. gün biotinidaz aktivitesinden düşük bulundu (p< 0.01 ). Gebelik yaşları 34- 37 ( n=13 ) hafta olan yenidoğanlarda O.gün biotinidaz aktivitesi kontrol grubunun %40' ını, 20. gün %49' unu, 40. gün %73'ünü ve 70 gün %81'ini gösterdi. 0.gün biotinidaz aktivitesi 20.günden farksız olup ( p>0.05 ),40. (p<0.001),70.(p<0.001)günlerdenJ20.günbiotinidazaktivitesi40.(p<0.001),70.(p<0.001) günlerden, 40. gün biotinidaz aktivitesi 70. gün biotinidaz aktivitesinden istatistiksel olarak (p<0.01) düşük bulundu. Gebelik yaşları 30-33 ( n=7 ) hafta olan yenidoğanlarda 0.gün biotinidaz aktivitesi kontrol grubunun %35'ini, 20. gün %41'ini,40. gün %58 'ini ve 70. gün %79'unu gösterdi.O. gün biotinidaz aktivitesi 20. günden farksız olup ( p> 0.05 ), 40. (p<0.001 ), 70. Normal gebelik yaşında doğan yenidoğanlarda biotinidaz aktivitesi normal yetişkin biotinidaz aktivitesinin %50 -70 ' ine O.ve 20.günlerde,gebelik yaşı 34-37 hafta olanyenidoğanlarda 20.ve 40.günlerde, gebelik yaşı 30-33 hafta olan yeni doğanlarda ise 40.ve70.günlerde ulaştı.II SUMMARY This study investigates in biotinidase activity in premature as well as normal infants on their 0th, 20th, 40th and 70th days from birth. In newborn whose birth age was between 38-42 (n=168) weeks, biotinidase activity observed on the 0th, 20th, 40th and 70th days indicated respectively 54 %, 80%, 88% and 92% of the biotinidase activity observed in the control group. Biotinidase activity on the 0th, day was found to be significantly lower than those observed on the 30th (p< 0,001) 40th (p< 0,001) and 70th (p< 0,001) days. Similarly, biotinidase activity on the 20 * day was found to be significantly lower than those observed on 40th (p< 0,001) and 70th (p< 0,001) days; and the activity on the 40th day was significantly lower than the 70th day (p< 0,01). In newborn infants whose birth age was between 34-37 (n=13) weeks, biotinidase activity on 0th, 20th, 40th and 70th days indicated respectively 40%, 40%, 73% and 81% of the activity seen in the control group. No significant difference was found between the biotinidase activity on the 0th day and the one on the 20th day (p>0,05). However, the activity observed on the 0th day was found to be statistically lower than the ones on the 40th (p<0,001) and 70th (p<0,001) days. In the same fashion, the activity on the 20th day was statistically lower than those on the 40th (p<0,001) and 70th (p<0,001) days. Finally, the activity observed on the 40th day was also statistically lower than the one observed on the 70th day (p<0,001). In newborn infants whose birty age was between 30-33 (n=7) weeks, biotinidase activity on the 0th, 20th, 40th and 70th days indicated respectively 35%, 41%, 58% and 79% of the control group. No significant difference was found between the biotinidase activity on the 0th day and the 20th day (p>0,05). However, it was found to be significantly lower than the activity observed on the 40th (p<0,001) and the 70th (p<0,001) days. The activity on the 20th day was significantly lower than those observed on 40th (p<0,001) and the 70th (p<0,001) days. Finally, the activity on the 40th day was significantly lower than the one on 70th (p<0,001) day.

The levels of biotinidase activity reached by the infants born in the nomal birthage were % 50 and % 70 in the Oth and 20 th days when campared with the adults; but the infants with the birthage between 34 and 37 weeks showed the same level respectively in 20 th and 40 th days and those with the birth age between 30 and 34 weeks reached this level recpectively in the 40 th and 70 th days.en_US
