The subject of the study is `Theoretical Analysis of Deverbalization and Reverbalization 'rocesses in Conference Interpretation`. IDeverbalization and reverbalization are two essential processes during the interpretation flow [including several mental operation strings. These notions were first used by Danica ISeleskovitch, founder of `Theorie Interpretative du Sens (Interpretative Theory of the Meaning)`, within the Paris School (ESIT). During a conference interpretation, the interpreter receive the discourse through a sound chain. He grasp the meaning and get rid of verbal forms. This level is called deverbalization. In this level, the linguistic and extra-linguistic knowledges are mobilized for the capture of the meaning. This amorphous meaning is reverbalized by the interpreter. He expresses this meaning according to formulations in the target language. This level is called reverbalization. These processes are studied and analyzed in this thesis according to the approaches of D. Seleskovitch and M. Lederer (School of ESIT), D. Gile, C.P Bouton, Chernov, P. Isham, Moser-Mercer and L. Anderson. In this study, these different approaches to deverbalization -. reverbalization processes are presented and compared to obtain a more comprehensive perspective. The scientists of this field take other disciplines as neurolinguistic, neuropsychology and neurophysiology into consideration to explain these notions In this thesis, these processes are in order to bring explanations to these notions including different approaches are treated and emphasized the importance of the contribution of related sciences. Keywords: Deverbalization, Reverbalization, Conference Interpretation, Interpretative Theory of Meaning, Cognitive Prosseses.en_US
