Her iki ülkenin genel ekonomik durumu inceledikten sonra, her ülkenin diğer ülkedeki dış ticaretindeki payı bakılacak ve son yıllardaki değişiklikler analiz edilecektir. Prof. Gökhan CAPOGLU May, 1992 This study basically aims at analyzing the last 15 years of trade between Turkey and Iran and finding the potential areas of increase in trade. After looking at the general economic situation of each country and looking at the history of trade between the two countries, the share of each country in the total trade of the other country is analyzed to find the variations during the past years. The next step is the analysis of the composition of trade among the two countries to find the potential areas of increase in trade of each item. Finally both the political and economic views of the countries are analyzed to see their inclination towards expanding the economic relations.
