Ege bölgesine uygun bazı yonca (Medicago sativa L.) çeşitlerinin agronomik özellikleri ile yem kaliteleri üzerinde araştırmalar

Abstract

V ABSTRACT Ege Bölgesine Uygun bazı Yonca çeşitlerinin agronomik özellikleri ile yem kalitelerini araştırmak amacıyla Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü deneme tarlalarında iki yıl süreyle yürütülen bu çalışmada; Anchor, Apex, Chilean, Diabloverde, Peru, Titan, WL-522 ve Zia çeşitleri ele alınmış ve çeşitlerin; fide güçlülüğü, ilkbahar bitki boyu gibi morfolojik özellikleriyle ham protein oranı ve verimi gibi kalite ve verim özellikleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre Peni, Diabloverde, WL-522 ve Zia çeşitleri Akdeniz iklim koşullarına sahip olan araştırma yerinde bir çok bakımdan üstün çeşitler olarak saptanmış ve gelecekteki ıslah çalışmaları için çok iyi bir materyal olacakları ispatlanmıştır. ABSTRACT In this study, aiming to investigate the agronomic and feed quality characteristics of some alfalfa cultivars suitable for the region and conducted for two years in the experimental fields of the department of field crop, Agriculture Faculty, Aegean University; Anchor, Apex, Chilean, Diabloverde, Peruvian, Titan, WL-522 and Zia cultivars were chosen and their morphological features like seedling vigor, plant height, quality and yield features like crude protein content and yield were tested. According to the results, Peruvian, Diabloverde, WL-522 and Zia cultivars were the most succesful crops in many aspects under the Mediterranean climatic conditions of the research area and they were determined as the most proper material for the breeding studies of future.
