dc.description.abstract | The main purpose of this study Is to evaluate the implementation of Computer Assisted instruction (CAD pilot project at some high schools in Adana by gathering information from the related people, and finally to develop some recommendations for solution of the current ongoing problems. The questionnaire which was developed by researcher with the help of research adviser was administered to the following two groups; 1) Teachers working at the schools where CAI pilot project has been implemented (totally Î85 school administrators and teachers), 2) Top Level Educational Administrators working at the Directory of National Education Offices in Adana and its 17 provinces (totally 64 top level educational administrators). The findings of the study indicated that in general there is no significant differences the following reccommendations were stated by the two groups; I. Teacher education should be considered at the most important issue in the implementation of CAI, II. In - service education should not be less than a month, Hi. In - service education courses should be organized in universities, IV. Implementation should be started primarily in secondary schools, particularly in general high schools, V. Softwares should be `user friendly`. Finally, both teachers and top level administrators desire the continuation of the implementation of the project. | en_US |
