dc.description.abstractABSTRACT This study was conducted to examine the criteria and procedures applied by English language teachers in selecting coursebooks to be used in their classrooms. The study concentrated on evaluating coursebooks and determining if criteria already being used by the teachers should be revised. This evaluation process depended on the data which was collected through interviews and questionnaires with teachers and learners. In this study how students feel about their coursebooks was also considered. Learner reactions to content and format and learner attitude toward the material as a whole was taken into account-en_US
