Abstract

ABSTRACT Today Turkish agriculture sector occupies an important place in national economy, although it is feld behind propor tionally with last years economic decisions and preventions. Due to social and political decisions the agricultural sector is supported by governments in Turkey and in world. The price is an important factor in the increase of production, therefore base price policy and supported purchase has importance in supplied agriculture policies. Due to economic and social life, the supported agricul ture policy has many aims. But the applied supported policy in Turkey is unsucceded due to several acts in last years. According to stability preventions that are taken on th and after Jan. 24.1980, a new series of precautions are taken to cease the unsucceded acts of supported agriculture policy. The agricultural productions occupies an important pla ce in Turkish total export. The traditional export products has a great importance in the exportation of agricultural products. In my research, regression and correlation analysisare made to examine the last year price of export products that is given by government will act next years' production and export or not. According to results of analysis, including several exceptions} One year delayed base price of traditional export products has no effect on the production and exportation of this product. After this analysis, it is understood that it is im possible to indicate production with base price policy. The same unsuccesful relation continues between last years' base price policy and next years export amount. Due to me, to solve this unsuccesful act; the price of agricultural plants that supplies inland consumption sho uld be determined for a single year to balance demand and supply and to indicate production^ -from 1966.
