dc.description.abstractThe literature research on dithiocarbamate derivatives showed that these compounds have antifungal and antibacterial activities. It is also well known that pyrazoline derivatives show antibacterial and antifungal activities. In our study, it has been aimed that the synthesis and antimicrobial evaluation of new l-[(N,N-disubstituted thiocarbamoylthio)acetyl]-3-(2-thienyl)- 5~aryl-2-pyrazoline derivatives which include dithiocarbamate and pyrazoline moieties. Desired original twenty-eight compounds were synthesized by reacting l-(2-chloroacetyl)-3-(2-thienyl)-5-aryl-2-pyrazoline derivatives with dithio- carbamates having initial substances. Physical properties, Rf values on thin layer chromatography, Rt values on high pressure liquid chromatography and UV absorption properties of the compounds have been determined and their structure has been elucidated by IR, 'H-NMR, MS spectra and elemental analysis. Promising results have been obtained from the in-vitro antifungal and antibacterial activities of eighteen compounds, which include some of the starting and resulted compounds. Key Words: Dithiocarbamate, 2-Pyrazoline, Antifungal activity, Antibacterial activity IVDitiyokarbamat türevlerinin önemli antifungal ve antibakteriyel aktivitelere sahip olduklan literatür araştırmalarında gözlenmiştir. Pirazolin türevlerinin de antifungal ve antibakteriyel aktivite gösterdikleri bilinmektedir. Çalışmamızda bu yapıları içeren yeni bazı l-[(N,N-disübstitüte- aminotiyokarboniltiyo)asetil] -3 -(2-tiyenil)-5 -aril-2-pirazolin türevi bileşiklerin elde edilmesi ve bunların antifungal, antibakteriyel aktivitelerinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Başlangıç maddeleri olan, l-(2-kloroasetil)-3-(2-tiyenil)-5-aril-2-pirazolin türevleri ile ditiyokarbamat türevleri reaksiyona sokularak amaçlanan orijinal yirmisekiz tane orijinal bileşik sentezlenmiştir. Elde edilen bileşiklerin fiziksel özellikleri, ince tabaka kromatografisinde Rf değerleri, yüksek basınçlı sıvı kromatografisinde Rt ve UV absorbsiyon özellikleri saptanmış, yapılan İR, ^-NMR, kütle spektroskopisi ve elementel analiz verileri ile aydınlatılmıştır. Bazı başlangıç ve sonuç bileşiklerini içeren onsekiz adet bileşiğin yapılan in-vitro antifungal ve antibakteriyel aktivite çalışmalarında olumlu sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.
