Left and right hemispheres of human brain havedifferently localized centers, such as talk, vision and motorfunctions. This functional asymmetry has been studied sincethe 19th century in order to understand which part of thebrain is controlling which part of the body. Split brainpatients are used in most of the brain asymmetry studiesbecause their corpus callosum has been cut and they actuallyhave two separate brains which gives far less complicatedresults for easy interpretation. Similarly~ the asymmetrystudies can be made on non-split brain patients. This thesis aims the computer based study of brainin non-split brain patients for brain asymmetry.asymmetry For this purpose a computer program has been developed for processingthe electrical activity of the brain, obtained from an EEGmeasurment and comparing visual responses of each hemisphereen_US
