In this thesis, a method for the qualification of the pathogenous fungispecies has been studied. The aim of this method is to be able to identifymiscellaneous fungi types by sampling and analyzing their odorcharacteristics with the E.O.C. , an instrument sensitive to odor molecules. The first point of the study involves the determination of appropriateconditions for the measurement. Then , the standard set-up has beenconstructed. The fungi types to be tested has been incubated in equalenvironmental conditions. The analysis of the odors of specific fungi hasbeen perfor med using the E.O.C. in the test room . in which thetemperature has been kept constant and the relative humidity isregularly controlled. The results have been plotted on an X -Y plotter inmilivolts versus time and the graphics obtained have been evaluatedwith respect to their characteristics.en_US
