dc.description.abstractEGG belongs to the most helpful data in the diagnosis of heartillnesses. A multichannel recorded EGG can be more helpful than onechannel EGG track.The multichannel EGG monitor discussed in this thesis enables thephysiologist to monitor the three basic derivations, lead I, lead` and leadIII simultaneously. In addition signals from chest electrodes can bemonitored simultaneously, up to five chest electrodes. The number of thechest electrodes, however, can easily be increased by duplicating chestelectrode amplifiers.The electrical safety of the system is obtained by means of opticalisolation.The multichannel EGG monitor makes use of the right leg drivingcircuit to obtain as much as high GMRR.en_US
