World agricultural products trade and Turkey s part

Abstract

Turkey is a country producing and exporting mostly agricultural products.This was so up to yesterday and Turkey's main foreign exchange source,except the workers' +emittences, from abroad was the revenue providingfrom agricultural products exportation. By taking into account of beingan agricultural county, in this study, it has been tried to analyze worldagricultural trade and determine the place of Turkey within world agriculturalproducts trade. To reach this purpose, we analyze the structureof agricultural products trading realized between country groups, themarket shares of the country groups in agricultural products, withrespect to statistical data we are able to find. It has been also triedto analyze the factors effecting the agricultural trade and the problemsencountring in production and marketing for the products in question.
