T The German `Visual Attention Test d2` by BRICKENKAMP (1981) was standardised on a Turkish sample of pupils at high schools, and norm tables were developed for ages 11- 14. According to the theoretical foundations of attention tests, the cross-cultural implications, and issues in standardising a test, two reliability, and three validity studies were conducted. The results suggest that the `Visual Attention Test d2` can be used as a meaningful preliminary screening device. Suggestions for further research were presented.en_US
