Democratic capitalism with a stock market and a bargaining problem in the `nutshell`

Abstract

SERMAYE Pî YASAL I DEMOKRATİK KAPİTALİZM ve NUTSHELL' BE PAZARLIK SORUNU Dirickx ve Sertel (İ979Î, temel davranışsal ilişkilerin standart ekonomik teoriye göre, işçi ücretlerinin ise oylamayla belirlendiği bir sosyal sistemi incelediler. Adı geçen çalışmada,, tümüyle örgütlü kapitalist sınıf, tümüyle örgütsüz işçilere hisse senedi hibe ederek oyları etkilemeye çalışıyorlardı. Bu tezin birinci bölümü, hisse senedi hibe mekanizması yerine semaye piyasası kullanıyor. Nutshell adını verdikleri bir başka, modelde, Dirickx ve serte! (1978), kapitaliz?., komünizm, sömürgecilik ve köleciliğin karşılaştırmalı politik ekonomilerini araştırdılar. Ancak, adı geçen çalışına, emek piyasasında kapitalist sınıfın alım tekeli, işçi sınıfının ise satım tekeli olduğu karşılıklı tekel durumunun sonucunu belirlememişlerdi. DEMOCRATIC CAPITALISM WITH A STOCK MARKET and A BARGAINING PROBLEM IN THE 'NUTSHELL' To analyze how classes ars formed and de- formed, Dirickx and Sertel (1979) investigated a social system in which basic behavioral relations are determined by its agents' utility and profit maximization and in which wages are determined by voting. In that system, the perfectly organised capitalist class tried to influence the votes of the perfectly unorganised workers by donating to them some shares of the capital stock. The first part of this thesis replaces- the donation mechanism with a stock market. In their 'Nutshell * model Dirickx and Sertel (1978) analyzed the comparative political economy of capitalism, communism, slavery and colonialism. In their study the outcome of the bilateral monopoly case where the capitalist class is the monopsony and the labor class is the monopoly in the labor market was not investigated. To determine that outcome, in the second part of this thesis, the axiomatic approach of the cooperative bargaining problem is applied to their model. IV
