dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to find out whether there areany differences in the factors to which men and women / inorganizations in TurKey attribute their success or failures Thesample for this study consists of a total of 40 managers, 20 maleand 20 female, working for 21 different organizations.Attributions of male and female managers for their own andothers' success and failures are examined. The results of thisstudy indicate that there are no sex differences in the attributionsof managers for their own and others' performances. This findingis not in line with the results of previous research, most of whichhas been conducted in laboratories. This study also examines thefour factors which have been identified in previous research and towhich people are assumed to attribute their performance. Findingsindicate that the four factors which have been used in previousresearch need to be reconsidered.en_US
