An experience in privatization: Transfer of the retail outlets of Sümer Holding company to its employess

Abstract

Bu tezin amacı , küçük ölçekli özelleştirmenin, küçük ve orta ölçekli, tüketim maddeleri üreten ve müşteri hizmetleri sunan KİT'lerin özelleştirmesinde, uygun bir metot olduğunu göstermektir.

The objective of this thesis is to show that small-scale privatization, which fosters entrepreneurship and private ownership by allowing the employees of the privatized SOEs, to own and run their businesses, is a convenient method to apply in the privatization of SOEs that produce consumer goods and services which are small or medium sized or which can be divided into smaller units.
