Abdülkâhir Cürcânî`nin sözdizimi teorisi ve tefsir geleneğine etkisi

Abstract

Tez, giriş ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Girişte, tez boyunca görüşleri incelenmiş olan Abdülkahir Cürcânî'nin entelektüel biyografisi verilerek tezin konusu, yöntemi ve kaynakları tanıtılmıştır. İlk bölümde `sözdizimi teorisi` incelenmiştir. Bu bölümün ilk kısmında; sözdizimi teorisinin nahvî temelleri, nahivcilerle mantıkçılar arasındaki tartışmalar, kelam disiplinindeki `sözün hakikati tartışması` ve edebî eleştiri alanındaki `eleştiride kıstas tartışması` tarihi seyirleri içerisinde incelenerek Cürcânî'nin sözdizimi teorisinin tarihi arka planı açığa çıkarılmıştır. İlk bölümün ikinci kısmında, öncelikle Abdülkahir Cürcânî'nin dil ve söz anlayışı incelenerek sözdizimi teorisinin dilbilimsel ve felsefi boyutları gösterilmiş ve ardından sözdizimi teorisinin edebî eleştiri ve belâgat alanındaki sonuçları ortaya konmuştur. Tezin ikinci bölümünde sözdizimi teorisinin tefsir geleneğine etkileri incelenmiştir. Cürcânî Delâilu'l-i'câz adlı eserindeki `sözdizimi`, `fesâhat` ve `i'caz` anlayışı çerçevesinde âyetlerdeki edebî anlam inceliklerinin tespiti için bir yöntem geliştirmiştir. O, tezde `sözdizimci tefsir yöntemi` denilen bu yöntemin uygulamasına da yine aynı eserinde yer vermiştir. İkinci bölümün ilk kısmında Cürcânî öncesi tefsir literatürü incelenerek Cürcânî öncesinde `sözdizimci tefsir` kategorisine dâhil edilebilecek eserler verilmediği gösterilmiştir. İkinci kısımda ise `sözdizimci tefsir`in doğuşu ve gelişimi, i'caz mektebinin oluşumundan Cürcânî'nin `sözdizimi teorisi` ve `sözdizimci tefsir yöntemi`ne giden tarihsel süreç de verilerek incelenmiştir. Burada Cürcânî'nin `sözdizimci tefsir yöntemi` tanıtıldıktan sonra Delâilu'l-i'câz'daki tefsir örneklerine ve bu yöntemin Cürcânî'den sonra Zemahşerî'nin Keşşaf'ı ve onu izleyen eserlerdeki uygulamalarına genişçe yer verilmiştir.

The thesis consists of an introduction and two chapters. In the introduction, Abdulqahir Jurjani's intellectual biography was given. The subject, method and resources of the thesis were introduced. In the first chapter, the background of Abduqahir Jurjâni's `theory of construction` was elaborated. This includes the grammatical essences of the theory, the discussions of logicians with grammarians, the discussions of speech in theology (Kalam) and the discussions of the eloquence of speech in the literary criticism. Jurjani's theory is a synthesis of these four discussions. Hence, the theory's historical-intellectual background was put forward with respect to these discussions. In the second part of the first chapter Jurjani's understanding of `language` and `speech` was dealt with and the linguistic and philosophical aspects of the theory was presented. Then, the implications of the theory to the literary criticism are investigated. In the second chapter, the implications of Jurjani's `theory of construction` to the tafsir tradition are examined. Jurjani, within the framework of his `theory of construction`, has improved a methodology which gives the tolls for interpretation of the verses from the point of eloquence. In addition, he applied this method to the verses. In the first part of the second chapter, the tafsir tradition from the beginning to Jurjani is examined. It is shown that Jurjani's way of interpreting the verses was not used systematically before him. The literature which applies `constructionist tafsir method` had occurred for the first time after Jurjani. In the second part of the second chapter, the line from the school of i'jâz (inimitability of Qur'an) to the `theory of construction` and the constructionist tafsir method are investigated. Then, Jurjani's method of tafsir and his tafsir examples were introduced. Jurjani's influence on the following tafsir books, especially on Zamakhsari's Kassaf and the tafsirs written in his traces, was dealt with.
