İkinci meşrutiyet`ten cumhuriyet`e Osmanlıca ahlâk literatüründe batı ahlâk felsefesinin yansıma ve etkileri

Abstract

Osmanlı son döneminde, telif ahlâk eserlerinde artış yaşanmıştır. Söz konusu artış, ahlâk dersinin müfredattaki yerinin fazlalaşması ve dönemin gazete ve dergilerinde ahlâka dair tartışma ile paralel gitmiştir. Osmanlı modernleşmesinin gözlemlenebileceği alanlardan birisi olarak ahlâk kitaplarındaki değişim, modernleşme serüveni doğrultusunda Fransızca aracılığı ile gerçekleşmiştir. Bu çalışmada, matbu Osmanlıca ahlâk eserlerinde bilhassa Kant ile Rousseau'nun etkileri felsefî-kavramsal bir biçimde ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Burada vazife ve vicdan terimleri en önemli irtibat noktalarını teşkil etmektedir. Çalışmada, son dönemin ahlâk müelliflerinin çoğunlukla İslamcı addedilebilecek isimler olduğu ve bu kişilerce, özellikle Kant ahlâkının İslâm ahlâk düşüncesi ile örtüştürme, savunma ve eleştiri gibi irtibat noktaları kurulduğu anlaşılmıştır.

In the Late Ottoman Empire, there was an increase in copyrighted books on ethics. On the increase in question, went parallel with increasing moral education in formal school curriculum and discussion of moral problems in newspapers and journals in that era. Transformation in the books on ethics as one of the areas of the Ottoman modernization that can be observed in, was through French Language as in the process of modernization in the Ottoman. In this thesis, it was tried that to analyse especially effects of Kant and Rousseau in a philosophical-conceptual aspect in the printed books on ethics in Ottoman Turkish. Here, the concepts of duty and conscience constitute the primary contact points. In this study, it has been understood that the ethic authors of the last period are mostly can be considered as Islamists and they have established contact points Kant morality with Islamic moral thought such as overlapping, defending and criticizing.
